Stay healthy with these Bee Pollen Remedies

For years now I've been experiencing first hand the benefits honey, bee pollen, propolis and other natural products are providing us. Bee pollen have pleasant taste and most of the people like it. I, personally, take bee pollen every morning with a glass of unsweetened juice. I slowly chew the granules before I swallow them. Usually, I add several drops of propolis in the juice, since I am not fan of the propolis' taste. Whether you are taking capsules, granules or tablets, always follow label directions for amounts to take.
During the years of research that I spent, I found variety of remedies used from people from ancient times to heal and rejuvenate their bodies. In this post you will find very interesting remedies with honey and bee pollen.

Soar Throat - Mix honey and bee pollen in a cup of warm milk. Sip slowly for soothing the throat.

Respiratory problems - Add a tablespoon of honey, a teaspoon of bee pollen and some lemon juice to a cup of warm water. Mix vigorously. Sip slowly when the liquid is lukewarm. This remedy will help your soar throat, relief lung discomfort and heal bronchial disorders.

Wounds and burns - Mix honey and bee pollen and use as a dressing for wounds, burns and skin problems. This remedy has been used in ancient times to speed up healing.

Insomnia - Combine four tablespoons of honey, two teaspoons of bee pollen, three teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water. Taken before bedtime (lukewarm), it works as a sleeping pill. Say goodbye to the sleepless nights.

Youth Elixir - Combine 2 tablespoons honey, 2 teaspoons bee pollen, 1/2 teaspoon chopped ginseng and 1/4 teaspoon dried orange peel. This recipe comes from the Orient and it is believed to rejuvenate and revitalize.

Weight Loss - Take bee pollen by itself without food - bee pollen regulates metabolism, reduces appetite and helps you loose weight naturally.Here are some suggestions on how to take the bee pollen:
  • slowly chew the granules and swallow them with water or juice;
  • if you've chosen to take it as capsule or tablet, do so with unsweetened juice, water or tea;
  • sprinkle pollen on fruit salads, yogurt or cereals;
  • mix with honey or your fresh fruit juice;
  • just use your imagination, but remember, never cook the bee pollen - the heat will destroy the valuable nutrients. Always add it to a slightly warm liquids or food.
